October Common Thread Give-Away

Update:  I’ll be announcing the winner tomorrow, so take a moment to visit the sites of the other artists in our group.  Good Luck!

IMG 1011

I am the featured artist for October’s Common Thread Give-Away and in keeping with the season, I’m giving away a signed, matted print of a mixed media drawing of Chuck, our Halloween Cat (who’s currently on walk-about).  It’s a 5×7 print on watercolor paper.

To enter the contest, by leaving a message in the comments section, and I’ll choose a winner at random.

When you’ve commented on my site, take a minute to visit the other artists in our group –   Jon Katz, Maria Wulf, Jane McMillan, and Kim Gifford!

  2. Full Moon Fiber Art sent me this way. I love black cats…my black cat Sam was with me for 16 wonderful years. My dad’s name is Chuck! I’d love to be a winner!

  4. I love the eyes on Chuck. Very mesmerizing………………..uh, oh! I would very much like to welcome Chuck to my home. He would fit in with the other 2-dimensional critters around the place.

  5. How beautiful. What talent you have. Thank you for your generosity of this give away. I have just framed a black cat that I made in Kindergarten (I’m 71 now). I have 2 cats and love to spoil them. Thank you for the opportunity.

  6. I love this–I truly believe that black cats are GOOD luck! Reminds me of my Nellie found abandoned at Woolley Hollow Park so many years ago and her uniquely musical greetings!

  8. I so love black cats, October and Halloween. Would love to add this Chuck to my home. Will he share his adventures when he returns from walk-about?

    • No, he expects absolute, unquestioning loyalty and servitude from his humans. He disappears for days and weeks into the woods when the weather is nice, and when it snows he shows up looking for a place by the fire.
